“ Great authentic Thai food for Patong central area. We went for an early dinner so there was no queue and we barely had to wait for a table. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered 5-6 dishes, and they all came at about the same time. It's all delicious and well priced. We had the seafood tom yum, pineapple fried rice, clams, kangkung, sweet sour fried whole fish, crab omelette - all delicious, including the steamed Thai rice! ”
“ No. 6 Restaurant in Phuket is one of the oldest and most popular spots for authentic Thai food. It’s a tiny place, probably fitting around 40 people at a time, and it’s always packed once the sun sets. During the day, though, you might find it empty. Expect a wait—I waited 20 minutes, which seems pretty standard. The food is fresh and authentic, and the Pad Thai was easily the best dish. They have sharing tables, adding to the casual, bustling vibe. If you don’t mind the crowd and the wait, it’s a great spot for a true local dining experience. Definitely worth trying! ”
“ I had a fantastic experience at No. 6 Restaurant in Phuket! I visited both locations—the one on the main road and the other at their beautiful hillside spot. The second location has an amazing atmosphere, and they even provide a free taxi service for pickup and drop-off, which is a great convenience. I tried their Pad Thai and Mango Sticky Rice, and both were absolutely delicious! The Pad Thai was packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection. The Mango Sticky Rice was fresh and sweet—a must-try dessert! The service was quick, and the staff was friendly despite how busy they were. Highly recommend this place for authentic Thai food in Phuket! ”
“ Incredible food, ate here twice on a recent trip to Thailand. As a solo diner I was able to get a space pretty quickly. Staff were friendly, food is fresh and comes out quickly, portions are a very decent size. It’s packed every day and I can see why. Very decent prices, a prawn pad Thai was 90Baht ”
“ We have to wait in a long queue to get a table. Table will be shared by others as well ready for it. The food served here is delicious with good portions. We had most of our dinners here. The cost is reasonable. I would recommend pineapple fried rice, chicken wings and crab omelette. Crab omelette comes in the greater portions it will definitely be stuffed for one, And for 2 as well, if ordered other dishes. They have good vegetarian options worth a try. ”
“ Amazing restaurant with a wealth of history. It was so nice to see photos of the restaurant's almost 35 years of history in photos on the walls. The service and food were well worth the line wait that is always out front. Everything was perfection . Five of us ate for less than 140 US (4680 bhat). We will definitely be back. They do family style dining, so you will probably be at a table with others. We had enough for our own table. ”
“ This place is so delicious and affordable. Worth the hype. I went multiple times during my week stay in Phuket. Is a small restaurant and you sit on shared tables sometimes but it’s all part of the fun. Service is friendly and fast! The first time I went on my own for dinner, had the crispy pork belly and Tom yum fried rice. Two dishes plus a Tiger beer was so cheap. The next day we went as a family, got all that food and drinks for 200-300 baht each. Would 100% recommend! ”
“ Please be prepared to share table with various people and get really social Its multicultural place for multinationals gathering on one table. I enjoyed my food here with authentic Thai food at reason price. Food taste is not very impressive but good enough. Ordered a few dishes in small sizes but came huge. Not a big eater please ensure don't over-ordered. Must order their steam squid soup, so authentic portion too huge that I didn't manage to order the mango sticky rice ”
